  • Modern Trade

    IPI currently covers 100 % of all the modern trade outlets in the Hyper & Supermarkets.

    More than 180 outlets of Hypermarkets and Supermarkets covering the international and local chains such as Carrefour, Spinneys, Hyper One, Metro Market, Seoudi, Ragab & Sons, Alfa Market ….etc.

  • Pharmacies

    IPI currently covers 100% of all the major pharmacies chains such as Al Ezaby Seif, Roshdy, Misr, Al Nadi…etc. In addition to all the major stand alone pharmacies, that total up to 850 points of sales.

  • Traditional Trade

    The traditional trade segment consists of tens of thousands of standalone boutiques and convenience stores. 

    We currently cover directly a very small number of those outlets, that have a very high traffic and the rest is covered through our network of sub-distributors or through the wholesale markets.

  • Wholesale

    There are four main wholesale hubs in Egypt, the Mosky hub in Cairo, the Mansheya hub in Alexandria, the Tomehy hub in the Delta zone and the Kantara hub in the Canal zone.

    IP&I has a very strong presence in those four hubs, with a dedicated sales executive in each of those hubs

    IPI currently has a very strong network of sub-distributors, amounting to 34 SUB DISTRIBUTORS that help us complete our coverage of hard to reach outlets such as the vast number of small size pharmacies, traditional boutiques & convenience stores & remote areas.

    The sub-distributors act as an extra layer of distribution that goes in parallel with the wholesale sector as this multi layered distribution approach guarantees maximum coverage of the vast number of small sized outlets that can never be covered by a single distributor.

  • Online Retail

    The online sector is still very small compared with developed markets however it is growing at a very fast rate. 

    We are currently working with SOUQ, an Amazon subsidiary and the biggest online retailer in the region.

Sales Network

IPI has its own staff of dedicated sales calibers that is divided to meet the requirements of the market and maximize our coverage. There is a separate sales unit for each retail segment (Pharmacies/Hyper & Supermarkets/ Beauty stores & boutiques/ Sub-distributors/ Wholesale) in Cairo & Alexandria.

The rest of Egypt is divided into four main zones as seen below:

  • Upper Egypt
  • Delta
  • Canal
  • Red Sea

Each zone is then handled by one supervisor and one sales executive. The zones sales units are not divided by retail segments.
